Have you ever just sat and thought what time was? What is it, where does it go when it passes, what a waste of it it is to think about it.

To those who put themselves on a pedestal:
It’s strange. That you can think you are the best person in the entire room because you can play one instrument, or because you can solve this equation when this person can’t. You have to realize how tiny you are. There’s a whole fucking planet out there. Yeah, it’s wonderful that you’re good at drawing or singing, there’s so many people that can’t do that. But then again, there are so many people that can, and to disregard them because you think you can do it better without even meeting them has to be the most unimaginably selfish thing to me. I’m not saying you should hate yourself, or feel sorry for yourself, because no matter what you’ve been through, you can still prove that you are an original, true, real person. But just remember that within the 6,840,507,003 people on Earth, you’re are simply another number. You’re just a person.

This world that we’re bringing children into where girls are more self conscious and terrified than they ever have been and then people say, “Oh, these girls are so fucking slutty! What are they doing now?” and it’s like, they’re damaged, terrible, ruined people that are over stimulated, and constantly surrounded by people more beautiful than them. They have magazines that make them hate themselves that are promoting musical artists that then sell songs that say ‘I love you.” in them. Do you know why all these songs about why “I love you! I love you!” are selling so well? ‘Cause these girls need that so desperately because they feel fucking hated by everything.Bo Burnham on WTF with Marc Maron (x)
